Ol Vic's Music
I am a Honky Tonk country/gospel singer and guitar player. I was born in Tennessee, but I've lived most of my adult life in California. I've been playing guitar since I was a kid.
I'm a big Hank Williams fan and play a lot of his songs in my performances. I am a solo artist and use no back-up musicians. My sound is pretty raw. It is like walking up to a park bench to find Hank sitting there singing, "Your Cheating Heart". My performances are filled with stories of my life, music, and the history of the songs I sing...
I am currently performing at the Caruthers Branch of the Fresno Public Library the 3rd Thursday of each month at 6:00 pm.

My guitar is a Gibson, "Southern Jumbo".
Her name is "Miss Liberty Belle".
She is my "Honky Tonk Sweetheart".
There is a poem I have always tried to live by called:
"I shall not pass this way again"
"I shall pass through this world but once. Any good, therefore, that I can do, or any kindness that I can show to any human being, let me do it now. Let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again."
